Beehive Software solves latency problem for long distance file transfers

In response to the increasing distances encountered in Beehive large file transfer networks, Beehive Software has introduced a special architecture that helps control packet transfer latency. Several Beehive networks transfer files from the US to Europe and from the US to ASIA and the microseconds involved in making these packet transfers (latency) can often exceed the ability of the file transfer buffer to handle the errors. By introducing the concept of local and remote keys, Beehive can control the latency by defining a local server for a given user and then additionally define predefined server-to-server routes for the long haul. This architecture accomplishes two things:
1) it gets the files quickly off the sender's desktop by sending to a local server, often at LAN speeds,
2) it allows administrators to define the precise long haul route (server-to-server) to ensure that long distance client-server routes, with excessive hops and long latencies, are not haphazardly used.
