BeeMail Email Extension - Attach files of ANY size, using Eudora or other Email Applications.
BeeMail is an extension for Windows or Macintosh e-mail clients that allows users to securely transfer files of ANY size as attachments. Beehive supports any email client using SMTP as the sending protocol, such as Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express, Notes etc. BeeMail comes with one year of access to a preset amount of secure storage space (or you may use your own ftp site for unlimited storage space).

How Does BEEMAIL Secure File Transfer Work?:
1) Any email user with the BeeMail utility installed can send email with LARGE files attached. All BeeMail operations are Completely Transparent to the Email user!

2) If the attachment size exceeds a certain threshold set by the user (typically 512KB) then BeeMail separates the attachments from the email body and substitutes a URL for the attachments. The message body is then handled by the standard mail server.

3) BeeMail, operating in the background, sends the files to the default https secure file transfer server and applies streaming compression “on the fly” to speed transfer times.

4) When the email is received by the recipient, they notice that there is a URL and instructions for file retrieval appended to the message.

5) The recipient clicks on the URL in the message and his browser is launched with the BeeMail Java Applet loaded.

6) The files are downloaded to the user's computer and are streaming decompressed “on the fly”.
Licensing:
When BeeMail is ordered as a Single User annual subscription for $49.95, you automatically receive 50MB of secure storage space, (the 50MB of secure storage space you are assigned can hold considerably more than a 50MB of files because the files are compressed). You may register BeeMail online after you download one of the clients or you may order BeeMail by using the BeeMail Single User Order Form.
You may optionally use your own ftp storage space or rent additional HTTPS Secure Internet storage space from Beehive. Beehive Secure File Transfer storage space may be purchased in 500MB and 1GB blocks from Beehive. Beehive Secure storage space is HTTPS-SSL secure and is suitable for HIPAA, DOD and other secure applications. This storage space is billed annually, in advance of use.
